TL;DR
Nadia is the reason the bar chain works on a run with no Owner. She is not cruel and she is not a rival, she is somebody who has been good at a job for five years and watched the slot she wanted go to a new hire. The arc is her deciding whether that is your fault.
The six beats
The chain fires as a priority beat above the shift shuffle bag, at most one per shift, and never on a shift where a Master order beat already fired.

The floor lead
Beat 6 is an offer, not an announcement. Taking it sets bar_floor_lead, adds fifteen dollars a shift and the deposit run. Turning it down is real: the slot goes to somebody else and he asks once more somewhere past twenty five shifts.
On an Owner route
Nadia and Yusuf run on every route. What changes is Marcus: at master_intensity == 0 he gets a three beat arc of his own on a 7 / 11 / 16 ladder, because from intensity 1 upward the bar manager IS your Owner and the two cannot be the same person.
